VOA manages income-qualified housing, and they are a leader in providing housing for seniors. Three months ago, GRID installed a solar photovoltaic system for Anna, a resident of Berry Creek Rancheria, through our no-cost solar program Energy for All and a partnership with Northern Circle Indian Housing Authority.

A Stockton resident for 55 years, Ms. Audrey is the definition of a community leader. Three times a week, she volunteers at the Northeast Community Center, and twice a week, she takes line dancing classes at Stribley Community Center. It’s this community spirit that eventually led to her partial re-roof and solar installation with GRID this summer at no cost to her.

Located in Madera, California, Valle de Las Brisas is an affordable housing development of charming single-story, Spanish-inspired, terracotta-roofed apartments in the heart of California’s San Joaquin Valley. It is also home to a community of approximately 81 senior residents. Tenants at Las Brisas enjoy amenities including spacious yards, a shared community pool, and now - energy from the sun.
