6 week Installation Basics Training (IBT)/NABCEP Prep
Installation Basics Training is a paid training program designed to help you develop the skills solar industry employers are looking for. Participants receive a stipend payment ($18.29/ hour) & $40 transportation stipend weekly. You’ll learn from interactive classroom instruction, hands-on lab activities, and gain real-world experience working on solar installation projects.
Our curriculum is vetted by industry employers and incorporates the latest solar technologies, so you can be confident you’re getting relevant, comprehensive training. You’ll graduate with advanced solar knowledge, hands-on installation experience, and valuable employer connections. We will support you from recruitment to placement, providing resume-building, soft skills training, and job search assistance to help you gain employment.
Training also includes preparation for the NABCEP Associate exam* so participants can earn their NABCEP Photovoltaic Associate credential. No prior experience necessary! (Must be 18 years of age by the start of the program & eligible Denver resident). 2 more cohorts in 2024!
