Tyler Chandon

Tyler is originally from the Shasta area and worked in the food industry (among other jobs) before he joined GRID’s North Valley (NV) office in 2017. With a passion for renewable energy and doing work that is positive for our world, he started with GRID in our SolarCorp construction program. Being a fast learner and having excellent attention to detail he was promoted to SIS (Solar Installation Supervisor) quickly after completing his SolarCorp term. With a drive and passion for training and classroom teaching he joined the Training/Tech Academy Team at NV in 2020 where he proved to be a vital asset to growing the IBT program. Loved by his students, training cohorts, and colleagues, Tyler brings a calm and steady hands-on teaching demeanor to our instructional program and onsite projects. He is funny, always has a great attitude, and is such a joy to work with. In his spare time, he enjoys being outdoors, hiking, and music.
