Amanda Greó Rivera

Amanda N. Greó Rivera was born and raised in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico. Ever since she can remember, she has been passionate about the environment and always knew she wanted to dedicate herself to working in close contact with nature. In high school, she participated in scientific research programs and projects at the University of Puerto Rico in Humanco. She earned credits directed toward a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Biology. Additionally, she had the opportunity to study agriculture and hydroponics at the University of Almeria in Spain. Volunteering and working with different organizations such as the Salvation Army, Red Cross, and AmeriCorps has been an essential part of her life that has helped her grow professionally and as a human being.

Outside of GRID, she is a photographer, artist, and hiker who captures nature's wonders and educates others about environmental conservation.
