3/2/2011  Wells Fargo is partnering with GRID Alternatives as we continue to expand our workforce development efforts throughout California. In support of these efforts, Wells Fargo is giving GRID Alternatives a $100,000 statewide grant to help us provide dedicated, turn-key solar installation experiences for participants in dozens of local workforce development initiatives throughout California; paid work opportunities for graduates from local workforce development programs through our SPP program; and additional hands-on training opportunities through our volunteer and team leader programs.

GRID Alternatives celebrated this grant last Sunday as Wells Fargo volunteers completed a solar electric system for a low-income family in West Oakland. Check out the pictures at PicasaWeb. Thank you Wells Fargo!
