Greater Los Angeles Solarthon

Our 2nd annual Greater Los Angeles SOLARTHON was a fantastic event and huge success!  Together we installed 10 solar electric systems for 10 low-income families all in one neighborhood, all in one day on Saturday, November 5th in Lynwood, California.  This "solar marathon" brought together individual, team and corporate work crews to install solar electric systems for local families, helping them save nearly $220,000 over the systems' lifetimes and preventing 700 tons of greenhouse gas emissions, all while providing volunteers and job trainees with valuable hands-on experience with solar power.
