Sponsorship Opportunities

Making San Diego solar and sustainable is an “all hands” project and needs your support. We create unique and innovative collaborations that help our sponsors and partners achieve their goals while fulfilling our mission. Two homes receive solar power each week to cut their energy costs with GRID Alternatives. We invite neighbors to “get up on the roof” and gets hands-on-training and experience installing solar.

Neighborhood businesses are encouraged to participate. Create your own campaign in partnership with GRID Alternatives including sponsoring a house or a volunteer trainee. Support our cause in your store. Get noticed in our local promotional efforts.

Sponsor a Solar Job Training Installation

Support GRID while providing hands-on experience for local job-trainees to supplement what they have learned in the classroom. Each workday is coordinated with the training program?s structure and curriculum to ensure that every solar job trainee has the chance to complete an installation from start to finish, providing needed experience to gain employment in the growing solar industry.

Corporate Partnerships

We develop customized partnerships for companies that want to sponsor more than one home per day, sponsor homes throughout the year, or sponsor homes in multiple regions.
