Solarthon is our largest installation event of the year, an annual solar block party to raise funds for and awareness of our work around the state. This year GRID Alternatives Central Coast will hold two Solarthon events to reach communities at both ends of our long coastal territory. Our first Solarthon will be held in Castroville, near Monterey, on June 22, where we'll be installing solar for five families in a self-help affordable housing development where more than 70 families have already gone solar with GRID.
