Solarthon season is here! We are getting really excited about our upcoming Solarthon block party and fundraiser in San Francisco on September 10th from 8:30 - 4:30 pm. GRID Alternatives Bay Area will lead individual participants and corporate work crews to install solar power systems for more than 12 low-income families in one neighborhood, all in one day!

This is our largest Bay Area celebration and fundraiser of the year. It is a great opportunity to raise money and awareness for solar power, network with solar enthusiasts and professionals, and provide long-term energy savings to the community-- all while aiding the fight against global warming!

This year we have some really exciting prizes for our top fundraisers! Such as a new road bike, solar chargers, lots of outdoor gear and awesome gift certificates!
