Solarthon is GRID Alternatives' annual solar installation block party and fundraiser.

In 2010 GRID Alternatives took the event statewide and held three regional Solarthon events out of our Greater Los Angeles, Bay Area and Central Valley offices. Each of these events brought together hundreds of individual and corporate participants from their community to install multiple solar electric systems all in one day in a local neighborhood.
