News : Serving Those Who Serve Others

Joe Carton works hard to build homes and hope for low income families in San Diego through Habitat for Humanity. At the same time, he and his family of seven struggle with high monthly electricity bills. Recently, a team of volunteers joined GRID Alternatives’ Solar Installation Supervisor Aaron Kessel for two fun and productive days at the Carton’s house, installing a 2.39kW PV system. Now the Carton family is looking forward to the monthly savings that clean, green solar energy provides. Thanks, Carton family, for hosting us!
