Stanford GRID hosts Energy Efficiency Workday in East Palo Alto

Last Saturday, the Stanford Campus Chapter of GRID Alternatives held a very successful Energy Efficiency Workday. 27 students retrofitted 26 homes in East Palo Alto, Redwood City, Menlo Park, and Mountain View. These Stanford GRID volunteers cut energy use and saved homeowners money by installing water heater blankets, insulating water pipes, weather-stripping, installing efficient fixtures, and much more.
