Stanford Campus Chapter of GRID Spreads the Word about Solar Through Salsa Dancing Event !

Submitted by Tracie Troxler on Mon, 04/14/2008 - 3:03pm.

A huge thank you goes out to the Stanford Campus Chapter of GRID Alternatives for hosting the "Salsa for Solar" fund-raiser last Saturday. Thanks to the amazing dance teachers from Stanford's Salsneros, a crowd of students and community members learned many new salsa moves at this fund-raiser. The proceeds from the event will go towards equipment and related installation costs for a solar electric system that the students will install for an East Palo Alto family.

If you were unable to attend, but still want to contribute to the fund-raising efforts of the Stanford Campus Chapter, you can make a secure online donation on their Firstgiving fund-raising webpage.

Thanks again to the Stanford Campus Chapter of GRID Alternatives for all of your hard work!
