San Diego Partners

We rely on partnerships with local nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and businesses to bring our Single-Family Affordable Solar Homes program to the low-income families who need it most. We welcome new partners to help us bring the power of renewable energy to more communities in need.

Affordable Housing Developers – If you are building or rehabbing single-family homes for households earning under 80% AMI, you may be able to incorporate solar power at no or little extra cost. Please contact us directly for more information about participating in this program.

Local Cities – We work with local communities throughout California to bring SASH to low-income homeowners. For information on what you can do to work towards bringing this program to your community, please contact us.

Job Training Programs – GRID Alternatives offers real-world, hands-on experience for local workers in the growing field of solar installation. If you are a job training organization interested in partnering with GRID Alternatives, please contact us.

Businesses - Visit our Sponsorship page for more information on partnering with us. Check out our Current Supporters page to see who is helping to bring clean green energy to communities in need. If you’re a solar contractor, visit our Solar Contractors page for more information on our Subcontractor Partnership Program.
