Solarthon is GRID Alternatives’ biggest fundraiser and community solar installation event of the year. It brings together hundreds of individual, team, and corporate sponsors; job trainees; and the homeowners themselves to install solar systems on the homes of as many as 16 families with low incomes in a single neighborhood all in one day. Funds raised at Solarthon events support GRID Alternatives’ work to bring clean, affordable energy and hands-on solar installation experience to families and workers that need it most.
