GRID Alternatives is hosting an after-work volunteer social to bring together our network of volunteers as a thank you for your on-going support and dedication. Please join us Friday, May 16th from 6:30- 8:30 at The Rickshaw Stop in San Francisco. The Rickshaw Stop is centrally located, only a few blocks from the Civic Center BART Station at Fell and VanNess (155 Fell), and has offered their space to GRID Alternatives for this event. Free drink tickets will be available for the first 40 people who arrive and light appetizers will be served. Entertainment will include a slide show of our volunteers in from 6:30- 7:30. At 7:45, a local environmental movie called The Recyclergy, will be shown. This film was created by local film artist Jeremy Kaller, and is about the original founders and mission of The Urban Ore in Berkeley.
