Corporate Sponsors

GRID Alternatives works with corporations from throughout the Bay Area, Greater Los Angeles and beyond to help bring the power of solar energy to communities in need. Becoming a Corporate Sponsor is a great way to demonstrate your company’s commitment to sustainability and community, connect with environmentally-conscious customers, and involve your employees in a fun, unique, and educational team-building project that provides tangible, long-term benefits to the community and environment.

Our main opportunity for corporate sponsorship is our annual Solarthon event, where teams of corporate sponsors and individual fundraisers install eight solar electric systems in one day, while raising money and awareness for community solar power. Solarthon 2008 is scheduled for Saturday, June 28th, 2008 in the City of Alameda. Click here for more details.

For information about how your company can get involved, please contact Zach Franklin, Development Director, at (510) 550-8535 x315 or zfranklin@gridalternatives.org.
